Flying to Sanremo Sunrise Concert reviews
Short, but hilarious
"Reaching his peak in 2005 with "Beyond the Pale", I think Jim Gaffigan is still very, very funny. Flying to Sanremo will always be entertaining. Although the lack of touring to test out new material shows, most of the material in this show was hilarious. The show was just over an hour, with an opening act of 10 minutes and Gaffigan performing for around 70 minutes. I was disappointed when he resorted to old material towards the end. While old bits on Waffle House or Hot Pockets are enjoyable on video, seeing them live felt a bit like a cheat. We paid over $100 for two tickets, which made it seem like an expensive hour. I wish we had received a little more for our money.
Nevertheless, you must see Gaffigan at least once in your life, even if it is a bit pricey. So go see him!"
